Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a group of talented forward-thinking engineers working on automated code builds and deployment, infrastructure as code and supporting some of the best software development tools.
We're are looking to migrate the MEL solution to Kubernetes. You will have the opportunity to set up the relevant AWS infrastructure and the K8 from scratch and according to best practices. A proof of concept was done to validate the end-to-end functional flow.
We're using Terraform with Packer and Ansible to manage our AWS infrastructure and we're using Kubernetes with the cluster autoscaler to empower the developers and optimise AWS costs.
We're looking for someone proactive, with experience and knowledge of best practices, and a good problem solver.


The team are looking for an Engineer who possess the following technical skills:
*Experience working with AWS Cloud
*Experience of a high level programming language such as Python, Ruby, Go.
*Experience with Kafka
*Previous hands-on experience with Terraform
*Experience working with Ansible
*Experience working with and setting up Kubernetes clusters
*Experience working with containers, preferably Docker.
*Experience with CI and Build tools such as Jenkins pipelines or GoCD.
*Experience with monitoring and alerting stacks such as statsd/collectd, fluentd, Prometheus, Wave Front, PagerDuty.
*Experience with networking
*Any exposure to other HashiCorp products such as Vault would be an added bonus but not essential.
