My client are a leading online travel organisation and is currently looking for talented Database Administrators that possess strong experience with AWS to join an ambitious team. You will be working on a fantastic project on an initial 2-year contract with the likelihood of extensions.
As a Database Administrator, you will manage and maintain thousands of production customer nosql databases nodes .
To be considered for this Database Administrator role, you must have most of the following:
Essential:
- Ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience with Elasticsearch , Aurora mysql/PostgreSQL
- Overall 3+ years experience as a DBA
- Proficiency with Python/ ansible
- AWS cloud experience
- Experience in Large data scale env, for example, 100+ nodes and Terabytes level per index
- Understanding of data architecture, replication, and administration
- Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix
- BS/MS in Computer Science
