Xcede are excited to be partnering with An exciting Sports Insights Start Up who are looking to add a forward-thinking Data Scientist to their team.
You will work end-to-end with the main focus on ML model building, Stats, and Python programming. Some of the key projects are NLP/text based with some working on Large Language Models. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Data Scientist with a passion for sports.
Key skills/experience required:
- Min Bachelor degree in STEM field
- Python expertise
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning etc.)
- Knowledge of stats concepts such as regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
- Experience working on NLP/text based projects would be beneficial (LLMs would be nice to have)
- Experience working in a fast paced environment such as a start up
- Passion for sports especially football (soccer)
