Our client is seeking a Data Engineer who will be responsible for transforming and analysing large amounts of data in a corporate environment. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be part of the Data & Personalization department and will support their team with technical expertise while driving best data practices and continuous improvements throughout the company. The Data Engineer will work in a multi-cloud environment (GCP and Azure) using data transformation tools for the entire value chain, such as data lakes, streams, databricks, functions, orchestrators, relational databases, and more.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a data engineer, ETL/ELT developer, or data scientist. Proficiency in Python, data transformation, data and machine learning pipelines along with experience with GCP. Candidates with experience in other cloud environments are an advantage.
The ideal candidate should have an interest in understanding (un)structured data sets, and basic ETL processes should be part of their tools of the trade. Moreover, they should have an interest in pricing and personalization topics and be motivated to keep up with best practices. Candidates should be fluent in English, and knowledge of the German language is a plus.
