Since 2008, they've been providing their clients with cutting-edge services across Big Data, Cloud, AI and Cybersecurity, and have earned their reputation as experts in the field. After a record performance in the first half of 2022, they're growing their data team.

As a Data Architect, you'll take responsibility for the design of big data, cloud, hybrid, and micro-service architectures for their diverse base of clients. You'll also act as an engineering manager, overseeing the implementation of your models by their dedicated delivery teams, and will advise on the broader company strategy in topics of data governance, data security and data lineage.

As a certified Azure, AWS & GCP Partner, you'll also be collaborating with all three hyper-scalers on internal projects. Recently they've worked with Amazon to design some of their first data mesh blueprints, which are planned for production in 2023. Other projects have included working with Google to improve performance of their cloud services, and delivering a hybrid data lake solution for a critical project at Deutsche Bahn.

For this position, our client is open to a range of professional backgrounds. Successful applicants could come from a Cloud Architecture position (Azure, AWS or GCP); they might have expertise in Big Data solutions (Hadoop, Cloudera, Spark, Kafka); or they could be in a Software role, with strong understanding of microservices architecture (Java, Docker, k8s, Helm). In any case, this person should demonstrate a high degree of intrinsic motivation and the desire to work with the latest technologies and architectural paradigms. Please note that a conversational level of German-speaking is also required for this role.

Benefits of the position include:

  • a highly competitive salary package, up to €000 + bonuses & benefits

You'll also be working alongside some of the best in the industry, with numerous ex-FAANG colleagues to share knowledge with
  • And of course: a sizeable tech budget, so you can keep up-to-date with the latest Linux, Mac or Windows hardware
