Our client who is a fast growing early start up are actively looking for a Data Analyst to join their newly created team.
Defining and reviewing KPIs with stakeholders by understanding their problems
Create a clear and logical idea of what can and should be quantified.
Create business reporting and research projects.
Understand complex data sources and where data is not available, create a
plan to source it working with the Product Development team as appropriate
Assisting with product A/B testing
Investigating bugs or discrepancies within data
Deriving and presenting deep-dive analysis to internal stakeholders
Build models of user-segmentation, marketing attribution, customer lifetime
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills. Independent and supported
learning of technical skills. An ability to prioritise and multi-task, and work to tight
deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to
detail. Organised, assertive and a quick learner. Key competencies:
Degree or professional qualification.
3+ years analytics experience working collaboratively with product team
members such as: product management, engineering, design, data
Experience using analytics and insight to inform/recommend product strategy
and decision making
Strong data 'storytelling' skills to make data and insight actionable
A passion for understanding and driving the business
Professional experience using an advanced level of SQL (complex joins, CTEs,
window functions, etc.)
Familiar with databases and experience with querying complex datasets
Ability to self organise and manage multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Some data visualisation experience desired
Advanced Excel skills
Experience using Google Analytics
