We are looking for a data analyst with 3-6 years of hands-on experience in applying analytical techniques in a consumer lending environment. You will be part of a team that is responsible for credit risk management and strategy development. You will use your skills and knowledge to:
- Work with bureau data and other sources to understand customer behaviour and credit performance.
- Design, develop and implement analytical solutions to support business decisions and objectives.
- Conduct exploratory analysis and generate insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Communicate your findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders using clear and compelling narratives.
- Use programming languages such as Python, R or SQL to manipulate, analyse and visualise data.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or higher qualification in a quantitative subject such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering or economics.
- Experience of working within credit risk and with bureau data.
- A naturally inquisitive person who loves working with data to solve complex problems.
- Experience in driving new projects end-to-end, from design phase to production.
- Experience in using data to define a narrative using exploratory analysis and insights.
- Experience in programming in an object-oriented language, and/or experience with data analysis in Python/R and SQL.
This is a full-time permanent position based in the UK. We offer a competitive salary of up to £70k per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including pension, health insurance, flexible working hours and more.
