I'm on the hunt for a senior editor/copywriter who has high-level stakeholder engagement experience. Who knows how to deliver in a transformation corporate programme environment. This is an interim role for 6 months - 3 days based at the client's head office in Staines, 2 days from home. I'm looking for someone who thinks fast, can influence, work autonomously alongside solid copy & editing experience.

There's a real need for strong mediation and influencing skills, someone who isn't afraid to challenge in large meetings in front of others without support and has bundles of emotional intelligence. This isn't a junior role, and isn't just a copywriter role.

Must have excellent comms, with strong stakeholder management skills.

Copy / Editing abilities:

produce micro copy for web, write for mobile, long form copy, regulated offline comms, letters, blog posts, SEO articles, guides, SMS, emails

Help across all aspects of our website transformation, offline comms transformation & on ad-hoc copy briefs for the brand team.
Discuss client core messages with internal stakeholders and understand the target audience.
Produce copy to bring to life the brand tone of voice including empathy.
Translate content into meaningful messaging, modify copy until the stakeholder is happy.
Collaborate with different areas of the business to create copy that best communicates the British Gas brand, from compliance, legal, UX, dev teams, to third party agencies.
Support product owners, attend daily stand-ups and deliver copy as part of sprint teams.
Support with regular drop-in clinics where you'll review creative briefs and provide guidance to sign off work at key stages of the creative development process.
Brainstorm ideas for ways to further the impact of the brand.
Creative delivery and thinking that engages customers at every level.
