Xcede is working with a new to market, Fintech company who are launching into the market in 2020. They will provide their customers with a unique opportunity in capital release and other lifestyle services, partnering with financial institutions to provide lending capital.

About the role - Content Specialist
As the Content Specialist, you'll be given a unique opportunity to help build a brand from scratch, a blank canvas to create best in class content strategies and act as a brand guardian. You will lead content optimisation across all of digital.

Key Responsibilities - Content Specialist
* Develop a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
* Collaborate with marketing and design teams and external partners to plan and develop the site content, style and layout
* Create and publish engaging content
* Edit, proofread and improve writers' posts
* Liaise with outsourced content writers to ensure brand consistency
* Optimise content according to SEO
* Use content management systems to analyse website traffic and users' engagement metrics
* Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web
traffic
* Develop an editorial calendar and ensure all contributors are on board
* Ensure compliance with the law (e.g. FCA, copyright and GDPR)
* Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention

Experience Required - Content Specialist
* Proven work experience as a Content Specialist
* Hands-on experience with MS Office and CMS systems
* Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
* Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
* Familiarity with social media
* Excellent writing skills in English
* Attention to detail
* Good organisational and time-management skills
