Discovery sciences is a very large R&D team that provides scientific services to the drug development projects. Changes to the R&D model are driving new IT needs. They have a large legacy IT estate in this area, running next to transformative science, tech and data programmes.

We are looking for people who can help deliver more value faster through focussed analysis and agile IT delivery. You will be part of a larger portfolio team based in US, Sweden, Cambridge UK and Chennai India which will include up to 10 BA's.

These are core areas looking for IT business analysts:

*Synthetic and Analytical Chemistry work (transformative and maintenance)
*Large molecule/New Modalities (transformative and maintenance)
*Introducing Screening/Analytical/Reagent technologies and platforms
*Refreshing eLN estate

IT Technologies used in this space include:

Genedata, d360, ERM, spotfire , elN, DEMCAP, eLNs, Lab Guru, Biovia, ACD labs, iLab and many more.

Key Points for all roles:

Understanding of Science is highly desirable:
oDegree or experience

BA's that can stand on their own as a BA
oMinimum 4 years real BA experience
oIIBA or BCS certification valuable
oInternal Stakeholder engagement skills are essential

Data\Digital intensive project portfolio. Data skills are valued:
oData flow
oCustomer journey/service design
oIT Build/RFP and new tech introduction and Agile work inc JIRA\Confluence

Key BA skills:
oBusiness analysis planning, including prioritising and decision making
