My client one of the largest banks in the UK is looking for business analysts to join the IRB Programme implementing a new suite of credit models and a revised Definition of Default (DoD) for various retail and wholesale portfolios and support the SME credit models implementation.
What you'll do in your new role:

  • Chairing a weekly SME working group and monthly Model User Group (MUG), working with senior stakeholders, coordinating across teams to prepare the material, produce minutes, and actions.
  • Chairing weekly triage data calls and working with technical stakeholders, assisting with the analysis of complex data requirements, resolving problems, and facilitating prioritisation to support technical delivery.
  • Maintaining a central plan, tracking and updating Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Decision logs and work across the franchise, technology, and programme teams to gather information for updates.

You'll also:

  • Coordinate cross-franchise, data, modelling, and technology teams to resolve problems, find solutions in line with strategic principles and support SME deliverables.
  • Support data and model teams to ensure data quality checks are complete on schedule, and data and model documentation is delivered on time. Proactively engage with all teams to support new PD/EAD/LGD models build, methodology documents and oversee the coordination and tracking of validation activities with model risk.

The skills you'll need


You'll need to have 2-3 years of change experience, a detailed approach with good presentation skills. Additionally, you'll have an analytical mindset, a good communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work.
