Business Intelligence Developer (m/f/d)

Salary: 55.000 - 60.000 Euro


Our client counts as one of Germany`s leading online buying and selling service and is currently looking for a business intelligence developer joining their team in Berlin, starting immediately. Since funded they've grown to become a company of 1,600 employees with ambitious plans to expand further.

Being part of a small team, you would be given responsibility from day one and the opportunity to really shape the technical direction of the Business Intelligence strategy.


The role:

-Designing and implementing BI solutions (DWH, ETL, monitoring, etc.)

-Being responsible for work packages within projects

-Ensuring and optimizing the operation of the BI application (monitoring, alerting)

-Execution of technical and substantive tests, creating use cases alongside the BI analytics team

-Processing ad-hoc requests for data, reporting or analysis questions

-Creating and managing reports, dashboards and KPI


Your Profile:

-A degree in (business) computer science, computer science, natural sciences, business economics with a focus on (economic) or a comparable education

-Several years of experience with Python or a similar programming language (e.g. Java, R)

-Expertise with cloud storage solutions (S3, Redshift, BigQuery) and relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)

-Knowledge within non-relational databases (MongoDB, Hadoop, MapReduce)

-Advanced experience with ETL processes, API integration and automated processes of unstructured and structured data

-Confidence connecting and modelling data in SQL and including it into associated reporting or visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Qlikview)
