This leading logistics company worth in excess of a billion euros are looking for talented Junior to Mid-Level Java Software Engineers to join the organisation as it undergoes a digital overhaul. They operate in over 115 countries, amounting for around 20% of all container trade worldwide, and this role will see you working right at the crux of the business on the supply chain management platform, with the opportunity to have an impact on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:
*Work with their global team of engineers to contribute to driving change and delivering quality products on time.
*Work with end customers to understand their needs and challenges, resolving these challenges via software solutions.
*Take ownership of the end-to-end software development/implementation and solution quality.
*Leverage all of your knowledge and experience in collaboration with the team to improve productivity, effectivity and efficiency of business.
*Participate in the building, supporting and operating software in a DevOps model.
*Eventually progress to leading and growing your own team.

Qualifications and Required Skills:
*Backend Software Engineering experience
*Expertise in at least one compiled programming language (Java, Scala, C#, Rust, Go, Haskell, etc) and its development ecosystem (compilers, build tools, testing, logging, debugging, monitoring tools, libraries, etc).
*A solid understanding of containers and container orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
*Experience with designing, building, and monitoring cloud-based architectures, deployment to major cloud provider services (AWS, GC, ideally at least basic familiarity with Azure).
*A great team player and a strong collaborator
*Excellent English verbal and written communication

If successful you will be offered a highly competitive salary paying between £40,000 and £65,000 depending on experience, alongside excellent bonuses and benefits.
