Analytics Engineer
A market leading music and audio organisation are currently looking to onboard a new Analytics Engineer to join their Data Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting their analytics initiatives by building and maintaining data pipelines, analysing data, and helping to create insightful reports on the audience data from the organisation's millions of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Looker
- Work with APIs to extract data and integrate with other systems
- Optimize data models and tables using dbt and BigQuery
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our data processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (ideally!)
- Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries
- Proficiency in Python and experience with data manipulation libraries such as pandas
- Familiarity with Looker or other BI tools
- Knowledge of APIs and experience integrating with them
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and experience using dbt and BigQuery is a bonus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
