Agile Delivery Manager

Job Description

I have a position available for a well known banking client based in London. The role will be hybrid, where you would need to come into the London office 1/2 times a week. The role also requires you to already have Security Clearance. If this looks of interest to you, go ahead and apply!

  • Minimum of 3 years practical experience working in a similar role.
  • Have in-depth experience of the delivery of IT projects using agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies with a strong focus on agile.
  • High level knowledge of software technology and development processes, particularly Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, disciplined agile delivery, SDLC and lean development.
  • You can apply experience of multiple parts of the product life cycle. You can recognise when it is right to move forward and when it is right to stop. You can recognise the appropriate deliverables and the right people to meet these.
  • Has a deep knowledge of and leads on a range of Agile and Lean tools and techniques, with an ability to coach within and outside of their team
  • Have excellent partner management skills, with the ability to advise senior staff on area of expertise and present at Project Board / Delivery Board meetings business decisions at senior management level.
  • Able to take a continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metrics/measurements and contingency planning
  • Coach and mentor both team members and others to apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques
  • Have awareness and management of Risk identification & mitigation.
  • Have a broad knowledge of Technology should exist as they will often liaise with colleagues across Security, Applications and Infrastructure
  • Have a proven track record of forming and maintaining effective and trusting relationships with business colleagues and be able to demonstrate an interest in and understanding of business processes.
